Dried Natural Seaweed | "Ijika no Mekabu" | Healthy and Tasty

2020/05/07 blog

Thanks for visiting Guest House AMARGE, where you can enjoy the the real lives of Ama divers and fishermen in Mie Prefecture.

This time, let me introduce you my new product

"Ijika no Mekabu"

which I harvested this spring.

This mekabu is a genuine "natural product" grown in the sea of the beautiful Ise Bay.

It is one of the well-known seaweeds in Japan.

Each of them was carefully hand-washed with seawater, dried nicely and then chop each piece to make it easy to eat.

Moreover, the packaging was also designed by myself!

I put a lot of effort to make them.

Look! How beautiful it is!

Each piece of mekabu is shiny and black! It is absolutely the finest product.

There's 35g in one bag.

¥ 1,200 / bag (tax included, shipping cost not included).

35g seems quite small, but actually it's pretty a good size to enjoy.

If you tear it off and eat it, the saltiness and the natural sweetness of the mekabu will be spread in your mouth while you chew.

You can use them to make miso soup, or add it to boiled water to hydrate and mix with ponzu is also a good way to enjoy.

I ate mekabu with shredded fresh onions with a mixture of ponzu and mentsuyu with a little sugar, and it was so good!

Mekabu and fresh new onions go well together! ! !

Please give it a try.
